Most systems we create require data to be stored somewhere — usually in a database. We typically use Microsoft SQL Server, and we also offer custom Microsoft Access solutions. Many clients come to us because their requirements are too specific for off-the-shelf software, or because existing options are bloated and expensive.
Web-Based Custom Business System
A multi-office client needed a secure, role-based web system for remote and on-site staff. We built data entry screens, process wizards, Excel-exportable reports, PDF invoicing, and dynamic dashboards using ASP.NET and SQL Server — all on Microsoft Azure.
Automated Email Reminders
We created a system that sends personalised Health & Safety course reminders via email using Microsoft Graph. It tracks attendance, sends evaluation links and follows up automatically. Our customer can even see the emails in their Outlook Sent Items.
SMS Appointment Reminders
To reduce no-shows, we added SMS messaging to a booking system. Staff select customers due to visit, click OK, and the system sends unobtrusive reminders — a simple but powerful enhancement.
API Integration & Automation
We automated data pulls from a business partner’s API, handling JSON streams and time-based duplication. Users process incoming data via an internal web page — no manual downloads required.
High-Volume CSV Processing
A client processes 100,000+ rows daily from CSV files. We used SqlBulkCopy to import data into SQL Server, built logic to validate and link records, created anomaly reports, and upgraded the system to automatically detect new files.
